You can have breakfast with King David in his court, while harps play and trumpets sound!  Or, visit the reconstructed Talmudic village in Katzrin, meet some 6th century residents, and dine by torchlight and starlight in view of the ruins of an ancient synagogue.  Maybe you would like to welcome visitors to Jerusalem from throughout Jewish history as they mingle with your guests before dinner: a scholar returning from Babylon, a servant of the Ramban, a 15th century pilgrim from Italy, Sir Moses and Lady Judith Montefiore.

Entertain family and friends at a reconstructed marketplace from Roman times; make mosaics, work with leather, learn to play ancient rhythms on clay drums – and visit the nearby Bet Midrash, where students discuss sugiot of the Mishnah that is being edited.

Another specialty event that we have to offer is a Parsha Production.  We can recreate the world of your child's Torah portion by incorporating characters from the parsha who walk around and engage guests in their dilemmas, a menu designed from ingredients available during Biblical times, and a setting appropriate to each parsha (the tent of Abraham and Sarah, foot washing included – camel rides optional; the encampment of the Children of Israel in the desert, as they journey towards their land, complete with crafts, music and pita-making).  An unforgettable and meaningful way to celebrate your child!
