A Place in Sejera is an authentic gourmet restaurant located off-the-beaten-track in Moshav Ilaniya about 20 minutes away from Tiberias in the north of Israel.  This country restaurant is a true hidden gem located in a rural farmhouse built in the late 1800’s that also serves as a museum about the early days of the agricultural settlement.

A Place in Sejera has separate meat and dairy restaurants.  The meat restaurant has space for 85 people and the dairy restaurant has space for 45-50 people.  During the summer months, it is possible to hold events outside on the shaded front lawn which can accommodate up to 220 people.  The restaurant also offers private rooms for up to 12 people that are perfect for intimate events or business meetings.  A Place in Sejera is certified Kosher by the Lower Galilee Rabbinate and Glatt is available upon request.

A Place in Sejera serves only organically home grown vegetables, organic, hormone-free meat, poultry, and fish and whole, unprocessed grains. Their menu selection is rich with creative and uncommon gourmet appetizers, entrees, desserts, and even drinks.  The tables and chairs are all fashioned from slabs of wood that contribute to the homey, natural setting of this unique restaurant.
