Zippori National Park
About This Vendor:
Zippori National Park is a city from the period of the Mishna that boasts an abundance of mosaics, a reconstructed crusader fortress, a Roman theatre, and an ancient synagogue. Zippori was the home of the Sanhedrin during the time of Rabbi Yehuda HaNasi, and it was there that the mishna was completed. The ancient synagogue in Zippori has a magnificent mosaic floor, and can be used for weddings, bar/bat mitzvah ceremonies, or receptions. The synagogue leads to a stone tiled courtyard with a panoramic view of ancient olive groves and the Bet Netofa Valley. For a bar/bat mitzvah, the ceremony can be held in the ancient synagogue, followed by brunch in the olive groves and an activity such as a guided tour of the area, a craft workshop, a sports activity, and more. The Roman theatre has 750 seats and a large wood stage for performances and ceremonies. It is recommended to hire an events planner to coordinate all of the necessary arrangements. Please feel free to contact Zippori National Park for more information. Why We Like This Vendor:
