Beit Shmuel (Mercaz Shimshon)

Mercaz Shimshon-Beit Shmuel is located in the center of Jerusalem near the King David and David’s Citadel hotels.  They offer several different venue options: 

The Hall:

The glass-domed Blaustein Hall is located on the rooftop of the recently opened Mercaz Shimshon wing. Designed by renowned architect Moshe Safdie as part of the Mamilla Project, this hall features a huge panoramic window that provides a spectacular view of the Old City.

The hall is suitable for events of 100-350 people seated around tables. The hall also has a large terrace facing the Old City that, weather permitting, can seat an additional 120 people.

This hall can also double as a synagogue. 

The Inner Courtyard:

The inner courtyard of the Mercaz Shimshon-Beit Shmuel compound is a peaceful retreat in the heart of the city, offering a unique, pleasant, and tranquil atmosphere.  The courtyard is paved with Jerusalem stone and is surrounded by an arched colonnade, a narrow stream, colorful flowerbeds, and palm trees.  It is a veritable oasis in the center of Jerusalem.

The inner courtyard is an ideal setting for events of 50-350 people sitting around tables, cocktail receptions and performances.

The Catering:

The catering service at Mercaz Shimshon is provided by a private catering company, Cezanne Catering Service. Cezanne, one of the leading caterers in Jerusalem, has acquired a sterling reputation in the catering field and provides exclusive catering to many venues. Cezanne offers a wide variety of the finest dairy and meat menus, and caters both buffet-style and full service meals. The kitchen is under supervision of the Mateh Yehudah Rabbinate (orthodox) and has a full-time in-house Mashgiach. Glatt-kosher meals can be arranged by special request.
