Ein Yael Living Museum
About This Vendor:
Ein Yael Living Museum is the perfect place to celebrate your special occasion against the backdrop of nature and experience traditional daily life as it was during the time of the Bible and the Mishna. Ein Yael’s exciting hands-on workshops include weaving, ceramics, mosaics, origami, oil pressing, mud construction, and bread/cheese making, and are fun and educational for visitors of all ages. Looking for a special Bat Mitzvah activity? At Ein Yael, we bring the words of Eshet Chayil (A Woman of Valor) to life by explaining and demonstrating the words of the prayer through a series of creative and interesting activities led by our expert guides. Also, learn about what it was like to be a woman in Biblical times and see firsthand how they went about doing their household chores in the “olden days”. We also offer an activity about “Women in the Bible”. Your guests can “meet” Ruth the Moabite who will tell her story about how she met Boaz and will demonstrate how to make bread from wheat. Queen Esther will introduce people to the different natural perfume oils that she used while she was living in the royal palace. Sarah will educate the group on how to separate challah, Rachel and Rebecca will show how to draw water from a well, and Yael will teach about how to milk a goat and make cheese. No matter what the occasion, our spectacular landscape and beautiful location is the perfect place to hold your celebration. We open our museum to events from March-September and can accommodate up to 500 people. For up to 100 people, you can bring in your own caterer. Please contact Ein Yael's events staff for more detailed information. Why We Like This Vendor:
