The Jerusalem Khan

The Jerusalem Khan, home of the famous Khan Theatre, is located in the trendy area of the German Colony in a compound that is rich with history. The site is an ancient inn from the Ottoman period, once offering shelter to travelers who arrived in Jerusalem late at night, after the gates of the Old City were already locked. In 1972, the complex was beautifully renovated and transformed into a thriving theatre and center of cultural activity.

The Khan is one of the most beautiful and charming sites in Jerusalem. A meal or banquet at the Khan, combining the historic charm of the venue with a superb and creative catering service, promises an unforgettable experience for guests attending. The venue is ideal for banquets, Bar/Bat Mitzvah events and other celebrations. The kitchen is kosher under full Rabbinate supervision. Catering is provided by Cezanne Catering Services who offer a wide variety of the finest menus for both buffet-style and full service meals.

It is possible to reserve the spaces at the upper level of the Khan, i.e. the restaurant area (up to 80 seats) and/or the terrace above the courtyard (up to 50 seats) any day of the week, day or evening (except Shabbat). For larger banquets (up to 250 seats), one can reserve the central courtyard of the Khan which also acts as the entrance plaza to the theater; however, the courtyard can only be used when the theatre is inactive.
